Community Expectations
The Spread community strives to be a place where people feel welcomed, safe and respected. We hold the spread community accountable for not only instilling these expectations in themselves, but encouraging it in other members as well. All Spread community members are required to conduct themselves according to the following guidelines any time they are interacting at any spread events, on our website, social media sites, or blog. If you experience or notice any misconduct at an event or on any of these platforms, please report it here.
Acceptance
The Spread events and subsequent accounts are open to everyone. We welcome anyone to join our community regardless of age, race, sex, gender identity, physical ability, education level, class or political belief. Discrimination does not have a place within our community and this is strictly enforced.
Respect
Just like you can’t build a relationship without trust, we can’t enjoy our events or build our community without respect. It is expected that all guests will treat one another with respect, as well as respect the homes, venues, and hard working staff at the spread events.
Safety
All spread events are an opportunity for guests to enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. Safety is imperative to us, and we request that all members and hosts emanate this anytime they attend a Spread or interact on our pages.
Accessibility
Our goal with The Spread is to create an environment that is accessible and affordable for all. If you feel that the spread is inaccessible to you or others in any way- please let us know! (Your Kitchen events are not always ADA accessible, please reach out to the host of the event prior to reserving a spot to inquire).
